Maija Āboliņa-Tomsone is a sustainability strategist and consultant with almost a decade of experience in the field. Her journey began at Samsung Electronics, where she worked as a Corporate Citizenship manager for the Baltics before joining the European headquarters team as a Corporate Citizenship Executive for European markets. Her passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility has only grown stronger since then.
Maija loves creating complex ESG (environmental, social, and governance) strategies for a wide range of companies, from global corporations to small, passionate local manufacturers. She's always eager to share her knowledge and experience with others.
Today, Maija is the founder of Ziemeļmeita Consulting, an ESG service company specializing in creating sustainability strategies, crafting impactful CSR initiatives, supporting communication with stakeholders, and producing comprehensive ESG reports. She also conducts workshops and lectures on various sustainability topics, further demonstrating her commitment to educating and inspiring others to embrace sustainable practices.
